This custom package was created with 100% biodegradable paper allowing the customer to plant their Mi Jardin straight into the ground after purchasing. I was inspired by the whole Art Nouveau movement, specifically works by Alphonse Mucha. I wanted to encompass the philosophy of the movement by creating a piece that was both aesthetically pleasing as well as functional.
This wine label was inspired by William Burroughs from the Beat Writers by using his “cut-up” technique.
This Flaming Lips album cover promotes the band and their tour with The Black Keys.I embodied the spirit of the band by making each shape look as though it was created with cutout pieces of paper.
This package design was inspired by the band Negativland. They had a controversial dispute with U2 as well as a music labels over the issue of copy writing and pirating music. I made a mailer that would unfold into a tabloid size poster that was reversible. Inside the mailed was a flip book that illustrated the highly publicized dispute. I made the cover of the flip book look like a cd in cd case to create the concept of sending people the entire Negativland album.
